THE PROCESS:

  • Let’s begin with your body of work. Cull the herd of images to highlight the most relevant for your 2-3 areas of concentration.

  • Rework-redesign your website with fonts and looks that are new and refreshing. Use of color is important to garnering attention.

  • Navigational naming on website that is relevant to the work you desire to get. Look at who or what you want to work with. Identify 10-50 you would be realistically a good match with.

  • Look at your logo - maybe redesign it

  • Your personal photo and statement of who you are. Does it speak loudly of your expertise

    and experience? What awards might you have? What organizations do you belong to?

  • Social Media - create a calendar to remind you to post something once a week. Follow those that follow you. Follow accounts you want to notice you.

  • Identify your target markets and stick to it. Over and over again - it takes 6 times to get attention ( that is, if the message is clear)

  • Engaging promotional products to send out - what could these be?

  • SEO - what words must be on your site to get you top of Google search?

  • Email campaigns - which ones get you noticed? How do you follow up?

  • What is trending in the ad industry now?
